Ricardo Potoroo Thief comes up as close second to Bruise. A really immersive experience, I felt like I couldn't move while listening to this album (in a good way). The synth textures really root you to the spot and bring lots of thoughts rushing in. Favorite track: Bruise.

about

Debut album by electronic producer & pop songstress Louise Love.
louiselovemusic.com

“Louise Love's silky electro-pop makes its striking debut in her first full-length album, 'First Day'. Featuring mesmerising vocals complimented by chilled-out electronic arrangements, which recall a Björk-like playfulness."
– Alex Laird Edge Radio 99.3 FM

Following a string of bands, solo-projects and banging her head against imaginary walls, Louise Love followed her gut into electronic music production.

After launching her stage-show in 2013 and her debut album in Hobart in 2014, Louise is now based in Melbourne where she continues to produce and perform her unique tunes (see right for upcoming shows).

Signature beats, twisted synths and liquid vocals layer in electronic creations that have both depth and space. The lyrics are honest and despite genre-tripping, the music retains its pop ethos. With new dancier tracks making their way into her repertoire - stay tuned for the next release.
